Commuter points can be purchased in increments of $25 with a 10% discount on purchases applied immediately. Commuter points are not forfeited at the end of the semester, rather they roll forward from semester to semester. Commuter Points can be purchased at the University of Incarnate Word Business Office.
Price: $25 increments + Tax, 10% discount applied at the time of purchase.
Recommended for: Commuter Students, Faculty, Staff, Administration, and Residents who may have run out of Declining Balance Points.

Meal Cards
Selection of a Campus Dining Services Meal Plan entitles you to a Meal Card, which allows you purchasing power equivalent to the plan you have selected. Here is how it works: When the meal plan is selected, the meals and points are added to your University ID card. Your University ID card will serve as your meal card. The declining balance plan works like a pre paid credit card, and each dollar amount purchased is equivalent to one meal plan point. Dining hall meal passes are for use in Marian Hall.

Declining balance points

May be used at all Sodexo food service locations in operation on campus each semester. Declining balance points remaining on your card at the end of the Summer and Fall semester roll forward for use during the following semester. Points remaining at the end of the Spring semester are forfeited.

Additional Points

Running low on Declining balance points?  Additional points may be added at anytime in increments of $25 (plus applicable sales tax) at a 10% discount. Points added to the meal plan are not forfeited until graduation.

Lost or stolen Meal Cards
Lost or stolen Meal Cards can be replaced, at a cost of $10.00 payable at the time of replacement or billed to your student account. Please contact Campus Life Office at 210.829.6034.
